It's a declaration of mutual love: "I love the ocean, and the ocean loves me." This isn't a romantic idyll, but a passionate, carnal, and somewhat dangerous bond in which we lose control and the boundaries of our own selves, but in return, we receive complete acceptance and belonging.
The ocean here becomes a symbol of the subconscious, the matrix, the collective unconscious, the life force and the destructive force - at once that which is greatest and most primal. The character neither enters nor exits the ocean. She is in a symbiotic, erotic, and existential relationship. It doesn't have to be about the ocean. Postać nie wchodzi do oceanu ani nie wychodzi z niego. Ona jest w relacji symbiotycznej, erotycznej i egzystencjalnej. To nie musi być o oceanie. |
